XPE/XPP insulating pipes

For the production of insulating pipes we can provide different solution to the customers. Single screw extruders (generally for small pipes), co-rotating twin screw extruders with a 90-180 mm diameter or Tandem systems.
The extrusion lines can be equipped with a second extruder which applies a rigid protective skin in PE on the insulating layer to ensure greater durability.
There is also the possibility, when the diameter is small, to extrude the foam pipe directly around the copper pipe to be insulated.
Multi-die heads bring the advantage to increase considerably the extrusion line output.
The foam PE and PP pipes are mainly used for thermal insulation of piping systems which transport refrigerated or hot liquid or gases.
