We can provide different solutions for the production of profiles: single screw extruders for small outputs and co-rotating twin screw extruders or Tandem systems for medium-high outputs.
Foam polyethylene is a very flexible material which adapts perfectly to any type of shape. In the industrial packaging sector these foam profiles are mainly used as protection, due to the high shock absorbing capability, for fragile materials such as glass, TVs, audio systems, computers and printers.
The foam polystyrene profiles, mainly used for interior decoration, are not flexible like those made in polyethylene, but rather rigid. The extrusion lines for XPS profiles need, after the die head, a calibrator with a sufficient length to calibrate the profile and cool it down gradually.
